HIRING OF INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS Social Protection Project Department of Samurdhi Development Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment The Social Protection Project, implemented by the Department of Samurdhi Development under the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment, and funded by the World Bank, invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following consultancy positions. The selected consultants will be engaged initially for a period of six (06) months , with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. No. Position No. of Consultants 1 Climate-Smart Agriculture Training Consultant 1 2 Psychosocial Counselling, Gender and Family Dialogue Expert 1 3 Family Development Plans and Financial Literacy Expert – Empowerment Program 1 4 Consultant for the Preparation of a Strategic Plan for the Department of Samurdhi Development 1 5 Business Skills Development and Business Coaching Expert 1 Total Individual Consultants 5 Detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) for each consultancy position can be accessed through the following website www.dsd.samurdhi.gov.lk Selection will be carried out based on the candidates' qualifications and relevant professional experience . Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. The selected consultants will initially be engaged for a period of six (06) months . The engagement may be extended, subject to satisfactory performance and the requirements of the Project. The selected consultants will be paid a monthly consultancy fee at a negotiated rate , subject to the applicable project procedures and approval.
