Dentist curriculum and services to support implementation of new dentist school
Direct Award to Single supplier - technical reasons
Direct award under justification 6:
The following conditions are met in relation to the public contract-
(a) due to an absence of competition for technical reasons, only a particular supplier can supply the goods, services or works required, and
(b) there are no reasonable alternatives to those goods, services or works.
Contact was made with comparable Universities to identify capability and interest in the requirement. Only one response was returned with both capability and interest, therefore a full competitive process was not suitable based on the absence of competition and no reasonable alternatives.
