LAO PEOPLE ’ S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC PEACE INDEPENDENCE DEMOCRATIC UNITY PROSPERITY Ministry of Finance No: FPD Fiscal Policy Department Date: Project : E - FITS & PFM REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR AN INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SERVICE The GoL has received a US$20 million credit from the World Bank for the implementation of the Enhancing Public Finance Management through ICT and Skills (E-FITS) Project to contribute to the reliability, timeliness and transparency of financial reporting and to enhance PFM skills. The MoF is seeking a qualified consultant to assist the Project Implementation Unit (PIU). The minimum qualification requirements for the consultant is listed below: Project Administrative Assistant: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or equivalent; At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a administrative or clerical role on donor-supported projects/programs; Familiarity with and experience in government institutions and procedures would be an advantage; Excellent secretarial skills and organizational capacity; Proficiency in the use of information technology and good computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.); and; Excellent command on both written and spoken in both Lao and English languages. Interested Consultant should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services, such as an updated curriculum vitae, indicating personal and technical skills, academic qualifications and experience in similar assignments. Consultants may obtain copies of the detailed Terms of Reference : TOR (in English) from the address below during office hours 9 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday .
