DEDZA DISTRICT COUNCIL INVITATION FOR BIDS {RFQ} RECONSTRUCTION OF MAPUYU PRIMARY SCHOOL Issue Date : 21TH OCTOBER, 2026 Dedza District Council (DZDC) with funding from the World Bank under Regional Climate Resilience Programme for the procurement of works as specified below. Dedza District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Reconstruction of Mapuyu Primary school block Item No Name of Project. Procurement Reference No. T/A CIRA 1 Reconstruction of Mapuyu Primary school block MW-DZDC-573428-CW-RFQ Tambala 500Million Bidding will be conducted following Request for Quotation (RFQ ) procedures and in full compliance with the provisions of Malawi’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act of 2025 and its Subsidiary Legislations, and is open to all eligible contractors registered with the Construction Industry Revenue Authority of Malawi (CIRA) and have renewed their membership. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from; Radford Matiya , The Chief Procurement Officer, Dedza District Council, Room 9 at Dedza District Council Offices, Phone: 0999428821/0998655425, Email: radfordmatiya@gmail.com/judithmaseya@gmail.com during working hours from 07:30am to 12:00 Noon and from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly marked Contract number, Contract name and Constituency at or before 14:00pm on Tuesday, 27th October, 2026 at the address indicated below. All Works bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’, or their representatives, who choose to attend at Dedza District Council’s Chamber at 14:00pm on Tuesday, 27th OCTOBER, 2026 .
