Descripción

Provision of Dental Laboratory Services
The Authority includes an NHS Dental Service that provides dental care and oral health promotion across Kent and Northeast London, including Community and Special Care Dental Services.
The contract is for the provision of dental laboratory technical services and associated products to support the delivery of these services.
The service comprises the manufacture and supply of custom-made dental appliances and restorations, prescribed by dental clinicians to restore, replace or support patients' teeth and oral structures. Products are manufactured to individual patient requirements and are essential to the delivery of NHS primary, community and special care dentistry.
The requirement also includes an associated collection and delivery service to support the Authority's dental services. The Authority operates services from 16 clinical facilities, 2 forensic units, 1 secure school and 6 HM Prison facilities across Kent and Northeast London.
The contract therefore supports the provision of dental care and oral health services across community, specialist and secure settings.
