Request for Bids Small Works (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Name of Project: Horn of Africa - Groundwater for Resilience Project Contract Title: Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for Olgabissa (Yabello Woreda) in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional State Grant No.: IDA-E0120 RFB Reference No.: ET-MOWE - PIT-562728-CW-RFB The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa - Groundwater for Resilience Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for Olgabissa (Yabello Woreda) in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional State The Ministry of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for Olgabissa (Yabello Woreda) in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional State Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen t Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 20 16 updated February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Water and Energy and inspect the bidding document during office hours between 9:00 am to 4:00pm at the address given below paragraph 9 . The bidding document in English may be obtained and downloaded by interested eligible Bidders upon registration through the link below: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IUWEM76GuxAEVRk-zzV9nACq_e3J8VTO/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=102433196788588305192&rtpof=true&sd=true and download the bidding document accessing the link: https://mowe.gov.et/en/tenders in the folder named: ET-MOWE - PIT-562728-CW-RFB Bids must be delivered to the address below on Paragraph 9 on or before September 22,2026, 2:00pm. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below paragraph 9 on September 22,2026,2:30pm. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration only in the form of Form of Bid-Securing Declaration using a Form of Form of Bid-Securing Declaration in Section IV, Bidding document issued for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for Olgabissa (Yabello Woreda) in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional State. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
