Beschreibung

Kent County Council has procured a supplier to undertake Road Condition Monitoring (RCM) surveys in accordance with PAS 2161 and SCRIM surveys in accordance with BS 7941-1, and to provide all associated survey data and outputs to the Council. The contract will support the Council's transition from SCANNER and CVI surveys to RCM surveys across the entire highway network.
The contract is to deliver these surveys as an end to-end service, with surveys undertaken by the supplier, and/or their supply chain, using their own equipment, vehicles and staff.
The modelled tender outcome was £666,906.00, as stated in the previously published Contract Award Notice. The estimated contract value is approximately £130,000.00 annually, totalling £780,000.00: £520,000.00 for the initial four-year term and £260,000.00 for the optional two-year extension.
The award value reported in this notice is £936,000.00 (excluding VAT), representing the maximum potential value over the contract's life. This allows for fluctuations in survey volumes, additional in-scope activity, increases in funding and inflationary uplifts.
Services will be commissioned as required in accordance with the contract and the Schedule of Rates. Actual expenditure is not guaranteed and will depend on the surveys required, ranging from £0 to £936,000.00 (excluding VAT) over the life of the contract.
The initial term runs from 3rd November 2026 to 2nd November 2030, with an optional extension of up to two years, from 3rd November 2030 to 2nd November 2032.
